In sports broadcasts, "score CG (captions)" that clearly communicate the game situation to viewers are essential. With LM-Cam, anyone can easily create rich sports commentary productions by simply overlaying a CG layer on the broadcast video. This article explains the setup procedure in an easy-to-understand manner even for beginners. *Sites that provide score CG are available at the bottom of the page.

We have created a free sports score CG site and hope you will use it.

It is very easy to use, just paste the Display URL of “SCORE CG Display (Open Overlay)” in the control panel to the URL of Web CG Settings.

For details on how to set up with LM-Cam, please refer to the following.

[LM-Cam CG function overview]

[Web CG]

CG created in HTML can be overlaid on the streaming video as a layer.

The official release of Score CG is scheduled for soon, but an HTML-based score display is available as a test version.

*Only RTMP is supported as a distribution protocol.

[Settings Procedure]

Follow the steps below to enable and customize it.

1. Turn on Web CG

From the LM-Cam menu, switch "Use Web CG" to ON.

This will enable the CG layer function.

2. Configure Web CG Settings

Once turned ON, open [Web CG Settings] in the same menu and enter/adjust the following items.

・URL

Specify the public URL of the HTML of the score CG.

・Redraw Interval

Set the time (in seconds) it takes for new scores and text to be reflected.

→ For example, if you set it to 2, the latest CG will be drawn every 2 seconds.

・Refresh Interval

Sets the interval (in minutes) to forcibly reload the entire page in the rare event that CG is not loaded correctly.

* Switching recording modes

As needed, toggle "Recording with Overlays" in the menu ON/OFF and select Dirty or Clean recording.

[Recording with Overlays]

When recording video for streaming, you can switch between "Dirty" mode, which overlays CG, and "Clean" mode, which does not use CG.

ON → Dirty (CG included) recording

Recording with OFF → Clean (no CG)
